Sandi is co-owner and assistant manager at Stonewall Creek Vineyards.  As the daughter of Italian immigrants, she grew up in a Detroit neighborhood rich with Italian food and culture. Sandi met Mark in college and they married in 1978.  A few years later they moved south to Atlanta to Emory University School of Medicine and enjoyed successful careers as physicians while raising their four children.  They often travelled back to the “old country” to visit family, and on a trip to Italy in 2005 she and Mark were inspired to adopt the family tradition of home winemaking. Sandi developed her passion for wine and winemaking over the next ten years. She is a Certified Wine Judge and has experience judging wine competitions around the United States. She became a Certified Specialist of Wine in 2019 (CSW).  She is a member of the Chaine des Rotisseurs, an international wine and food society. Sandi brings together her love and enthusiasm for wine, food, and family to Stonewall Creek Vineyards.  As a Nonna (grandmother) her latest passion is making homemade “rapaloli” (ravioli) with her grandchildren, and sharing the beauty of Stonewall Creek Vineyards.  Life in the vineyard just doesn’t get any better.
