Boriana Named Best of Competition!
Our 2014 Boriana, a dry white Petit Manseng, was named Best of Competition at the 2016 Georgia Trustees Wine Challenge Awards Dinner on November 9th! Boriana and our other entry, 2014 Cabernet Franc, were named Best White and Best Red – Vinifera Wines, respectively, and faced each other in the Best Vinifera competition. Our Stonewall Creek wines are 100% Georgia Grown Vinifera on our 5-acre vineyard in the North Georgia Mountains (Rabun County).
Our 2014 Boriana with awards: General James Oglethorpe Award (Best Georgia Grown Wine 2016) and Gay Dellinger Award (Best Vinifera Grape Wine 2016). (Should have known as Boriana’s been “judged” our best seller by tasters since we opened in August 2012.)
